YOU LIVE TO DIVE

We understand.

Every year there are more and more of us, venturing into the blue for the unique experience only diving can offer. For some, it’s all about the rush, the risk even, of pushing the limits of achievement and endurance. For others, the adventure is more relaxed: it’s the calm magic of exploring, weightless, the stunning landscapes of our oceans, reefs and wrecks.

Whatever our individual motivations to dive, the truth is, as humans we are entering an alien world we are essentially not meant to be in. You are not designed to work well underwater – and so, it is absolutely essential – you use equipment that is. You need confidence that your kit can deliver, when the pressure is on.

From our first valve to our latest BCDs, from shop floor to boardroom, at AP Diving we, too, live to dive – innovating, building and selling dive equipment that has stood the tests of time – and the elements.

THE COMMANDO IS SO COMFORTABLE…

You’ll forget it’s there.

You’re not an average diver, so why be wedged into a standard size harness? Most AP Commando BCDs and Wings now come with our unique patented Element Comfort-Fit System: anatomically contoured, fully padded and adjustable to the finest degree at the shoulders, waist and back-plate.

Just one of the many features of the new AP Commando BCD range designed to improve every dive you make.

WE COULDN’T FIND
A FABRIC TOUGH
ENOUGH FOR OUR
BCD DESIGNS

So we invented one.

Endura FX100 is a bespoke material only found on AP BCDs. Commissioned by us from a specialist manufacturer, this ultra-durable, high performance 1000 denier cordura is specifically developed to withstand extreme conditions and to maximise puncture and abrasion resistance.

Endura FX100 is coated both sides to prevent fraying, hold colour and protect against chemical and UV attack. As a result, our twin-bag BCDs are the toughest ever made. The Endura FX100 outer shell protects a PU airtight inner bladder – itself so durable it comes with a Lifetime Warranty on the HF welded seams.

MULTIPLE CHOICE

Put us to the test.

Every diver is different. Every dive is different. That’s why the new AP Commandos and AP Wings are more than just quality BCDs. They’re fully configurable dive-safety devices.

Choose between the Auto Air octo-inflator or the unique APV200 (AP’s original emergency inflator/breathing valve), add an emergency mini-cylinder, choose integrated weights or extra accessory storage, upgrade to twin-set bands, even add a redundant-buoyancy wing…

Multiple choices, one piece of kit.

THE ROYAL NAVY AND OIL RIG DIVERS

Good enough for you?

Martin Parker AP ©

For more than 40 years, AP have supplied sport & professional divers, the military, police and fire services, search & rescue teams, coastguards and the commercial giants of the oil industry – across 50+ countries worldwide.

Big organisations with big demands trust us to get their specialist kit right. That’s because, at the heart of our products, whoever’s using them, is a no-compromise attitude to the three most important aspects of your dive: comfort, safety & performance.

BE SEEN, BE HEARD
AND STAY IN TOUCH

AP accessories make sense.

AP’s range of essential accessories keep you safe by keeping it simple. AP Surface Marker Buoys (SMBCs) are the ideal delayed action, signal or dive marker buoys. The original hi-viz self-sealing SMB – much copied but never bettered – they stay inflated at the surface, are easy to fill underwater, roll up neatly for pocket storage and you can wave them at the boat to attract attention. The super compact AP Pocket Reel (205g, 7.5cmx5cm) is the perfect solution to the problem of bulky, cumbersome SMB/Navigation reels. The BUDDY Blast Air Horn can be activated easily with cold hands or gloves in an emergency.

WE’VE GOT YOUR BACK

At AP Diving, you get lifelong support from people who understand you – because we’re divers too. In 1969, we started out as a family of divers who decided simply to make the world’s best dive equipment backed by friendly, quick, informative after-sales support.

Nothing’s changed.

TESTED IN DEPTH

Every AP product is tested to exhaustion both in manned ocean trials and unmanned dives in our state-of-the-art R&D test-house here in Cornwall, UK. This facility allows us to simulate the harshest conditions, to produce BCDs, Rebreathers and Valves that perform to our own satisfaction as divers, to meet and exceed stringent CE standards and to constantly innovate, invent and develop new kit.

TRUSTED BY PROS

Dive with true peace of mind. For over 30 years, AP Diving (formerly AP Valves) have built custom equipment for professional divers in the Royal Navy, police, special forces, bomb disposal, the fire service and coast guards through to the commercial giants of the salvage, shipping and oil industries; from marine biologists to photographers, film-makers and expedition professionals. They trust us to do the job properly in the most extreme conditions.

You can too.
